Low Level Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive, painless treatment that uses specific wavelengths of low-level light to stimulate cellular function and accelerate the body’s natural healing processes. Unlike high-intensity surgical lasers, LLLT does not produce heat or damage tissue, making it a safe and effective option for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

This therapy works by increasing mitochondrial activity within cells, which enhances energy production (ATP), improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and supports tissue repair.

At BK Spine Center we use GVL by Erchonia which has FDA clearance for the treatment of chronic neck and shoulder pain. In clinical trials this laser has shown to be more effective in reducing pain and improving range of motion in a single session.

Laser therapy is commonly used for:

Acute and chronic pain

Soft tissue injuries

Joint and muscle inflammation

Nerve irritation

Postural and repetitive strain conditions

Each session involves directing a low-level laser over the targeted area to promote healing at the cellular level. Most patients experience improved mobility, reduced pain with no downtime.

Could Laser Therapy Be Your Solution?
